Maskwa High Voltage is an engineering service provider that specializes in the design and execution of high voltage projects across Canada and abroad on facilities ranging from 4160V to 500kV. We provide highly-specialized and personalized solutions to the electric utility, independent power producer, industrial, and resource development clients in the areas of transmission lines, distribution lines, and substations designs.

Maskwa is a COR-certified organization through Alberta’s Partners in Injury Reduction Program.
SECURITY
Modern utilities require detailed cyber security protocols. Our Protection and Control, and SCADA teams work diligently to ensure these measures are included and adhered to in our designs, which are compliant with all North American Electric Reliability Corporation “Critical Infrastructure Protection” (NERC CIP) standards, where required, for local implementation.

Maskwa places high importance on quality assurance and quality control. Our design process utilizes a variety of checks and balances to maintain a consistent, technically accurate product.

ENVIRONMENT
At Maskwa, we aim to identify, reduce and mitigate any environmental impacts during the design stage of a project. Working with the Maskwa Environment group, we can conduct nesting and wildlife sweeps, generate detailed and certified environmental protection plans, perform ongoing environmental monitoring, and detailed remedial and reclamation requirements.
